This renowned seaside resort on the Opatija riviera has now been almost completely incorporated by Opatija. ICICI, a small town and seaside resort on the eastern coast of Istria, 7 km south of Opatija. It is located at the foot of steep slopes of Ucka Mountain; population 579. Development of tourism initiated the construction of a new complex of rest and vacation homes. A variety of relief forms offered good opportunities for a harmonious and picturesque arrangement of houses and the mild climate favoured horticulture, which makes Icici attractive for visitors both in summer and in winter. A coastal road connects Icici with the main road (M2, E751).
